Privacy Policy

Forve - workshop management for independent auto repair shops

This policy explains what personal data Forve ("the app") handles, where it is kept and what your rights are. Forve is offline-first: the workshop's records are stored on your own devices, and only what is needed to run your account is stored on our servers.

Who we are

Forve is provided by Teenysofts, MB, company code 306726046, registered office Giedraičių g. 39-R53, LT-09302 Vilnius, Lithuania. For the account, support and billing data described below, Teenysofts is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].

What we store on our servers

To run workshop accounts, we store the following in our database, hosted by Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany):

We also keep support emails you send us, and billing records for workshops we invoice.

We use this data only to create and run accounts, let you sign in, manage who has access to the workshop, answer support requests, invoice workshops and keep the service secure. Legal bases (GDPR Article 6(1)):

Your email address and workshop membership are needed to give you access; without them we cannot provide an account.

What stays on your devices

The records a workshop enters (clients and their phone numbers, cars, VINs and plates, jobs, findings, call notes, photos, invoices and other documents) are stored on the devices where you use Forve. Today they are not sent to our servers, and Teenysofts does not receive or read them. For its own clients' data, the workshop is the data controller.

If we add syncing between devices, these records will also be stored in our EU database. Before that happens, we will explain the new processing here and put a data processing agreement (GDPR Article 28) in place with each workshop.

Camera and photos

If you attach a photo to a job, the app asks for camera or photo library access at that moment. Photos are saved in the app's own storage on your device.

What we do not do

Service providers

Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another GDPR transfer safeguard. Ask us for details.

How long we keep data

Deleting your account

The workshop owner can delete the account in the app: Settings - Data - Delete account and all data. This removes the workshop's account and records on our servers and its mechanics' logins, then erases the data on that device. It does not erase other devices or copies the workshop exported. Anyone with a Forve login, including mechanics, can also ask us to delete their account by writing to [email protected] from the account's email address. Billing records we must keep by law are kept as described above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month; if we need longer, we will tell you why. You can also complain to the Lithuanian data protection authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or to the authority in your country.

If you are a client of a workshop that uses Forve, the workshop holds your data. Please contact the workshop directly.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). In our database, every workshop can see only its own data, enforced by the database itself. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.

Children

Forve is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its date are always on this page. For significant changes we will also tell workshops in the app or by email.
